We are your one-stop shop for golf instruction, offering private and group lessons, playing lessons, junior camps and memberships for golfers of all ages and skill levels.

Chuck Scally, Jr.

PGA Teaching Golf Professional

I had a golf club in my hand almost from the time I was born. My father was a PGA teaching professional giving golf lessons for over 25 years and started Scally’s Golf Center in 1954. My family lived at that facility consisting of a driving range, 9 hole par 3 course, 9 hole pitch and putt course, 18 holes of miniature golf, and batting cages. The facility is still in operation today, and I live there with my family.

I have now been teaching golf for over 25 years. I love the experience of giving a golf lesson and seeing someone transform their swing through the use of tools and simple instruction. I have also coached and taught many students who have qualified for state and local championships and students who have gone on to play college golf. I have attended two PGA Coaching and Teaching Summits, attended Hank Haney’s Teach the Teacher School, have attended two levels of instructor training with Top 50 instructor Charlie King and have had lessons with Top 100 teachers David Leadbetter, Hank Haney and T.J. Tomasi. I am married to my wife Jill and we have three great children, Charlie, Maya, and Max.

Amateur Playing Career Highlights:

  • U.S. Amateur Championship Qualifier | U.S. Junior Amateur Championship Qualifier
  • Junior World Championship Qualifier | 2 Time PIAA State Qualifier
  • Member of Palm Beach State College Golf Team (teammate of Jesper Parnevik.)

PGA Playing Career Highlights:

  • PGA Tour Qualifying School five times, missing final stage by 1 stroke.
  • 3 Time PGA National Club Pro Championship Qualifier
  • West Penn Open Champion
  • Top 5 of the PA State Open twice
  • 2 Time Ben Hogan Tour Qualifier
  • Earned a spot on Palmer Cup Team 4 Times
  • Lowest competitive round is 63.
  • 2023 Golf Digest Best in State for Pennsylvania

My parents introduced me to the game of golf at a very young age. I was lucky to be in a family that fostered a love of playing golf and learning.

My Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees have given me a high level of training in anatomy, biomechanics, and sensory-motor processing that I use to tie in to my knowledge of the golf swing. I love the experience of giving a golf lesson with a student and watching them develop their swing through the use of tools and simple instruction. 

I am married to Chuck and we have three beautiful children,Charlie, Maya, and Max.
